Lisa Lia joins the Firm with over twenty years of experience in the areas of litigation, real estate and business law.  Lisa is experienced in all phases of litigation from pre-litigation settlement to post-judgment appellate practice.   Lisa is admitted to both the New York and Florida Bars, and has represented the State of New York, Fortune 500 companies, construction companies, small businesses, financial institutions and individuals in various types of federal, state and appellate matters.  Lisa has successfully resolved cases involving contract interpretation, employment disputes, Fair Labor Standards Act and Title VII claims, constitutional challenges, professional medical misconduct, and construction defects.   Lisa is also well-versed in all phases of commercial and residential real estate transactions and related real estate litigation.  Finally, Lisa has analyzed and advised on a wide variety of potential real estate deals and investments.
